Our new project UAS approach for monitoring of plant invasions over different spatial and temporal scales just got funded by The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports under the INTER-COST VES18 funding scheme. It is related to a COST Action CA16219 HARMONIOUS (2017-2021) we are members of.
As a follow up of our previous project Detection and monitoring of invasive species using UAV (2014-17) we will continue to explore computer-assisted methods for remote detection of plant invasions, focussing on several new species and targeting use of unmanned aircraft in nature conservation.
The project starts in July 2018
